Teething - Canines?

Westley has been teething for months, but nothing has broken through. Quite recently (in the last two days) it’s been the absolute worst. Crying, not sleeping as well, super clingy. When I look at his mouth, all of his teeth are where they’ve always been, bottom two super close to the surface, not coming through, top two don’t seem to be close to popping through. But when I looked further into his mouth today it looked as if this spot has a tooth ready to come through soon - I think it might end up being the first one that does. I know that it’s definitely not normal to get a canine first, but does it seem like it might be?
