should i take the pill? can i stop?

i’m currently single, not sexually active and i am breastfeeding. my dr. prescribed me a low dose combination pill aware that i am breastfeeding my 9MO. i want to find a pill that works for me and rather find it now so i can be protected later and not jumping around pills and risking pregnancy. also would like to see if it helps my skin. only thing is i don’t want my milk supply to be affected. if it were, would stopping the pill fix that? if i notice any adverse side effect i will stop it immediately (like i said, not getting pregnant any time soon)

advice?
