I dont think anyone should be forced to celebrate anything they dont want to. Especially valentine's day which I see as a giant commercial day of bullshiting people into buying a bunch of candy and stuffed animals. Celebrate your love everyday. Without shelling out a wad of cash.

Hypothetical ‘cause neither of us are into Valentine’s Day, but... If my birthday was Feb 14th then I would still buy a valentines gift for my partner, yes. If my partners birthday was on Valentine’s Day I’d get him two separate gifts or something bigger as a joint occasion gift.

I completely understand that it should not be a demand/requirement...I respect those of you who find it silly/frivolous opinion however this would obviously be for the people who chose to make one day just a tad more special than any other. Anyone who is actually mature enough to truly love someone knows you should show it daily....not the question.

If you don’t want to celebrate valentines then don’t 🤷‍♀️ You just need to come to an agreement between you whether to do anything specifically for valentines. 
People do celebrate two things on the same day all the time but if you don’t want to, then don’t!!  There’s no rules as such, to exempt you 😂
I don’t like Valentine’s Day at all, so don’t celebrate it - we just use it as an excuse to get a takeaway:)
