She’s a piece of work. Yesterday she asked if we could come have lunch with her tomorrow. 48 hour notice. She lives 2 1/2 hours away, and I have 2 young kids (3 and 10mo). It’s Valentine’s Day weekend and my husband and I had plans. While my husband was talking to her he forgot about our plans so he told her he would check with me and get back to her. The two of us decided we would make plans with her for another weekend, no big deal. WRONG! She responds to my husband’s denial with “why do you hate me?” “Why are you keeping my babies from me?” 🙄 Really? I would like to let you know my kids are not show monkeys, and you have no right to request them at every whim! We are allowed to say no and reschedule! She decided not to reschedule so that’s on her. At least I dodged that. Side note, they are my babies not your’s.
