Late ovulation pregnancy

Yesterday I was beyond excited thinking I was going to get to see my baby’s heartbeat but the sonogram tech was silent and there was only a jellybean to see.

My last period was December 11, 2019 so we all thought I was about 9 weeks but the sac measured closer to 6 weeks.

I have had very long cycles sometimes (46 days at most) so I am praying I just ovulated super late. I also had a negative pregnancy test 3 weeks ago and the doctor said that was reassuring that it is indeed just a late ovulation pregnancy. I go back next week to make sure little muffin is growing. What a long week it will be!!!

Has anyone else experienced long cycles/late ovulation pregnancies?
