Ovulation maybe?!?!?

Soooo, I’m 57 days late and 86 days into this cycle. I just recently got diagnosed with PCOS so i’ve been taking metformin for 3 weeks now. And I have lost 11 lbs since I’ve started taking it.

Yesterday I took an ovulation test just because i was curious of what it would say lol and I had been cramping a little (but i thought it was just the meds lol) but It was super dark or at least i thought so.. so i used an another period app and it said this.. (not sure how accurate the apps are lol but.. ) It has never said this anytime before and they have never been this dark.....

I ran to my husband all excited thinking maybe this could be it and we BABY DANCED and all was great lol

but now i’m just wondering if the test was wrong or if i really could have been ovulating even though it’s been so long since my last period. does anyone have any thoughts on this? Or maybe any experience of this possibly happening to them? TIA🤞🏼❤️
