How to take birth control effectively?

Christina

I just have a quick question. I read online that birth control pills are 99% effective when taking it perfectly. So, if I start taking the pill everyday at 2:30 pm, does it always have to be exactly at 2:30 pm or can I be a few minutes early or late or maybe even 10 minutes early for it to still be effective?

If it’s the combo pill you have a 2 hour window to take it. But it’s best to do it at the same time. But a few min early/late will not hurt you at all

Not all pills are like mine the ones I had were 93% effect so if your going on the pill definitely look up the name of yours or ask your doctor the 99% effect is usually the ones where doctors put in inside you Definitely take pill othe same time every day and and you might want to use condom for more protection just incase Not trying to scare or worry you but I know couple people including me (5) how always tryed to take the pill same time (it's hard so dont think that's easy) but we got pregnant on the pill
