How much is a good amount to pump

I fed baby, 2 weeks old, then pumped about 30-45 minutes after for about 20 minutes, two let downs each side. I only got an ounce 😔 I only pumped to see how much I’m producing, and to increase my supply. He’s been cluster feeding for a few days now which is probably a growth spurt, but I feel really defeated right now. I know he needs more than an ounce per feeding. Help 😔

It cannot be stressed enough that the amount of milk you able to pump is NOT ever a reliable indicator of how much milk you are producing, nor how much milk baby is taking in. The healthy breastfed baby is usually much more efficient at getting milk from the breast than a pump is.It's also advised to not pump(unless exclusively pumping or real supply issues) the first 4-6 weeks, to avoid oversupply. It might sound good, but it comes with a whole bunch of other problems.

I’m almost 100% sure I have low supply. He’s seemed unsatisfied all day long and usually seems like that for the past couple days all afternoon and evening. He can’t be off the breast more than 5 minutes before he’s crying for it. The pumping I did was from this morning when my supply is the highest, but now it’s 6:30pm and I’m pretty sure there’s nothing left for him to take
