Stay at home?

Question

Do any of you stay at home and do something (craft, sell, etc) to make money to cover your income?? The closer I get to taking off work for mat leave, the more I try and find ways to not have to go back. I make roughly $15 an hour and I’m not sure staying home is an option at this point but I would love to be able to consider it 😅 what do you all do??

I’ll babysit on the side sometimes, but mainly, we just budgeted for it. We never thought me staying home would be an option, but while on Maternity Leave with our first, we our numbers together, cut down on some expenses, etc, and it was doable.  Plus, factor in nanny/childcare costs. If you’ll be working just to pay childcare, it’s not really worth it, you know? 
I was a Preschool Director before I left on Maternity Leave, so I was going to get 80% off childcare costs plus be able to be right across from her room, but I was honestly feeling called to stay home.  The biggest complaint from parents was always that one spouse works just to pay the childcare bill. Then you gotta factor in which parent stays home when the child gets sick, which parents takes off for the appointments (especially the first year), etc.  
Like I said earlier, we didn’t think it would be possible for me to stay home, but little did we know, it was. And we are still able to take our Spring and Fall vacations every year without going broke. It’s all about budgeting and cutting back, if you’re able to.

I trade Forex. It is a struggle for me to juggle the staying at home mom life with working mom life. I tend to put working on mom on back burner but we need the money so I keep plugging along.
