Postpartum hair loss?

Please tell me I’m not the only one losing SO much hair. I shed alll day long. LO is EBF so I’m still taking prenatals. And that’s pretty much the only advice my OB has given me to try to help it. Is there anything that has helped you ladies from losing so much?

So I’m a cosmetologist and almost 4 months postpartum. It is perfectly normal everyday to lose up to 100 hairs a day. Think about what that looks like! It’s a lot! Now, I know I am not washing my hair anywhere near as often as I used to. Which is a good thing....for hair health anyway😂. However all of those hairs being shed are just kind of getting stuck in the mass until I wash it. Brushing only does so much. Washing it is the only thing that really gets all of those hairs out. So although it’s normal after having a baby to lose hair while our hormones go back to normal also remember that any type of anesthesia (epidural), pain medication, or antibiotics effects our hair. Not to mention sleep deprivation, trauma to our bodies and the shock of birthing a real live human! So don’t panic when you see all of that hair and assume it’s all going to fall out. Instead look for abnormal breakage, receding hairline or bald spots. If you see that it could be a sign of something internal like a hormonal imbalance that you should talk to your dr. about. This is the amount of hair that comes out just when I take my hair out of a bun or pony after working all day. But if I brush my hair or do anything with it so much more comes out 😩 it’s terrible ! Your not alone momma

I lose a shocking amount. Like, I’m actually scared to wash my hair because of how much I lose in the shower and then after brushing it. I’ve only ever washed my hair 2/3x weekly, now I’m like once every 5 days and living on dry shampoo. I’m SO scared it’s gonna inevitably get wrapped around my babies fingers or toes. Jesus. Intense.

I use an apple cider vinegar shampoo and it helps.... A little?

Its hormones. Nothing is gonna make it stop... Prenatals help and I guess Biotin. 
But i am so sick of shedding like German Shepard too....its ridiculous.... Its everywhere. And im pretty sure ill be bald soon. 🤣

I have started to shed bad but I thought it was the weather. We are getting a very early spring here in California. Its 65 to 70 degrees and sunny!

Month 5-6 was SO bad for me with my first. It hasn’t started yet this time around but I’m right at that point. I chopped off all my hair in the beginning just to be safe
