Breastfeeding vs pumping

I'm a FTM to a beautiful baby girl. She was a preemie baby and had a hard time latching due to being so small and being in the NICU so while at the hospital I pumped every 2 hours and she just got bottles. Since being home we've been using a nipple shield to help with her latching so we're able to breastfeed. I feel like a failure because its so much work for us both. She latches and then unlatches. It takes her a good hour to breastfeed. It's exhausting and I'm at a loss. I feel like it may be easier for my mental health and for us both to just exclusively pump and bottle feed. My husband really wants me to continue breastfeeding. I don't know what to do!😔
