Anyone else’s baby NOT enjoying any non-pureed food ?

I’m starting to worry my son has a texture issue. He is just so appalled by finger foods or anything other than a purée when I put it on his high chair. It makes me so sad! 
I see some of your babies covered in food and they genuinely look like they enjoy it. Meanwhile mine barely touches it and cries and whines until I take him out of the chair 😔

What about chunkier purees? Like mashed foods? Try to build up slowly!

My baby doesn’t enjoy food puréed or table foods. I’m lucky to get three bites of purée down before she locks her lips tight. She mostly plays with table food.

I think this is pretty normal if you started with purées because they’re still unfamiliar. We went through this when we first started blw, it took some time for babe to get used to feeding himself and touching things.

She used to eat 2-3 oz a day of purées and now refuses them (refuses to let us feed her; except bottles which she refuses to hold 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️). She’s getting better at regular table food though.
