What age do you think is too old for a child to still be breastfeeding?

That's for no one but mom and baby to decide. It is recommended to BF for at least 2 years so anything under could be consider too short but again that's for mom and baby to decide

Personally I would probably wean when they could walk up and ask intelligibly for it if my first hadn't self weaned at 13mo. 
WHO recommends 2 years and beyond!

The natural age children self wean is between 2.5 and 7 years, so I say none of the above.
As long as it is still working for mum and baby, no one else gets a say.

I started the weaning convo with my first when she turned two. It took us another 6 mos to wrap it up completely. It felt like the right pace for us.

I plan to wean at age 2, if my daughter doesn’t self wean before that, but I don’t care what other people do. That’s each individual mothers choice.

“Too old” isn’t really the right words to say.  I don’t mean that in a rude way but it suggests that there is an age that would be considered “too old” However there isn’t one. 
It is all up to mama and baby. And usually if the child didn’t self wean, it’s because the mama is physically/mentally ready to stop. Not because they believe their child is suddenly “too old” I hope that makes sense. 
I personally thought my first son was going to be done at 2. Here we are at almost 4 and he still nurses at least once a day for like 5 minutes. It doesn’t bother me at all. I have a 4 month old son too. And I plan to let him decide when he is done!
