Dizziness during pregnancy

Hi ladies, im 13 weeks pregnant today and i was on my way to work on a busy train this morning and i started to feel a little sick and sweaty. As i got off the train i walked straight to the train guard held on to him and told him i feel like fainting. He held me and sat me down and gave me cold water and took my blood pressure. I than went to see my gp and she said my blood sugar was 4.3 and a little bit low and my blood pressure was first a bit high and than low. Is this common during pregnancy :( i am scared now about passing out when no one is around.
