Do you brush your little ones gums?

Mine doesn't have any teeth yet but I noticed his breath is starting to smell bad. Should I be brushing his gums? What do you all use?

My girl has 4 teeth. I bought a toothbrush but have only remembered to use it twice 🙈

Warm washcloth every night, but we also use a tooth brush here and there to get him used to it - now that he is finally getting a tooth through we will start brushing every night. We got a toothbrush and toothpaste from the baby section at target but I can’t remember what brand it is - just that it is a green and red brush and I think there were apples on the toothpaste bottle. 😬

My guy has teeth so we use a toothbrush and fluoride free toothpaste now, but before we used to wipe his gums with a warm wet washcloth. Then he’d clench it and suck in it 😂. He’s pediatrician recommended it though for practicing good hygiene. Especially now that he’s eating food.

We don’t brush her gums or teeth yet. 
As for the bad breath: My doctor said it is probably post nasal drip. At her 6 month appointment her breath smelled like sour breast milk/vinegar poops🤮her dr laughed at me and said it’s ok.
I was literally checking her diaper every few minutes convinced she shit everywhere. Nope, just a cold creating rank breath.

We have tooth number 6 coming in now and I dont have a toothbrush for him 🤦‍♀️ I'm pretty sure I have everything else under the sun tho and I'll be buying a toothbrush tmrw 😂

We only started brushing once the first tooth appeared but this was before we started solids. Honestly once Jaxson gets teeth they're gonna come on FAST so I'd probably recommend starting with a toothbrush now to get you both used to it. It's hard brushing a baby's teeth 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️
