Is this weird?

My husband forgot something today so I told him I’d bring it to him and if he was in class then I’d walk to his class. (He’s a student). I text him when I was there and waited for like 20 minutes. His teacher opened the door and went to his office for a sec so I went in really quick and gave it to him. He said “oh thank you” and I said “you’re welcome” and just left. I feel weird because I didn’t kiss him buy or say I love you or anything else. Is that weird? I know it’s something very simple and small but still. I feel like he’ll say something about it later lol but I left feeling incomplete or like people might have thought that was weird.
