Would this be wrong?

Sorry I’m a first time mum and just have a question. So my lo will be 1 on the 16th March. He doesn’t eat a lot of food, he just plays with it and throws it. 
Would it be wrong at this ages to just give him morning milk and milk before bed and give him food instead? Or does he still really need a lot of milk?  
If he just had his 2 bottles a day he would only be having 16oz of formula a day?

It all depends on how much your baby eats (real food). If they eat enough (3 meals a day minimum or with added snacks) then it should be fine!if he's not big on solids then stick to formula/breast milk as he needs the nutrients x

I have always been told that before 1 if the baby doesn’t eat much milk is primary. So it doesn’t happen with my son when he doesn’t have a good appetite I will give him his formula instead.

My son eats 3 meals a day and has 18oz of formula. Usually cup of milk after breakfast, one before his nap and one at bedtime. Sometimes has more through out the day.

My guy will be 1 on March 8th, and has been on 2 bottles since his 9 month appointment, maybe even a little before. If he finishes both he drinks 12oz a day, otherwise it’s all table food. He lost interest in bottles when he started eating more table food and when he was still gaining weight and growing the pediatrician said he’s totally fine 🤷🏽‍♀️ I think at this point as long as they are eating and happy, you’re doing great!

Mine is on about 20oz a day, spread over four feeds, but to be honest he doesn’t even finish them so it’s more like 16oz, he has a morning bottle, 2 in the afternoon and one before bed, but he eats a lot of food through the day so I’m not worried, main goal is to get babies nutrients, so if he isn’t eating much food id be a little worried to cut out milk, id just have food to offer all day long to get him eating more
