No baby shower...

Am I the only one who is not having a baby shower? I had one with my son so I got to experience the baby shower ordeal and this pregnancy I just didnt want one. My best friend tried to plan me one and I told her I just dont want one. Me and my husband had EVERYTHING bought for our son from other people. I think the only thing we actually bought was formula. This go around we told everyone to not buy us anything big. If they wanted to get us clothes for our little girl then that's ok but we want to buy all the big stuff on our own. Am I wrong for wanting this? Or am I the weird one who doesn't want a baby shower?
