Skin Allergy Test

We got a blood allergen test done for my 8 month old because he’d been having some issues and it said he’s allergic to partial milk and egg whites. The doctor is now saying that we should get a skin test because it’s more accurate.

How do you guys feel about a skin test? I heard they hurt like crazy and I don’t want to subject my 8 mo to that kind of pain. What are you guys’ experiences or advice?

Also - if he’s just allergic to egg whites can he have scrambled eggs? Dumb question I know but he’s had them before with no issue (before we knew he had the allergy) - we like our scrambled eggs cooked so no white at all
