Baby Kicks

Im about 30 weeks now and had my last scan on December 22nd. Iv had another appointment since then and heard the baby’s heartbeat on the 14th this month which seemed fine as well as the stomach measurement.

The worry i have is the baby’s kicks as i only feel them whilst im lying down on the side or on my back. During the day i hardly feel any kicks or movement and during the night i feel a bit but not so much. In my last scan i was told the placenta was lower and could be the reason why i don’t feel much kicks. I have been booked for another scan on the 9th next month but keep worrying if the baby’s okay. I don’t want to go hospital everyday to check baby esp when the baby only kicks whilst lying down which i do sometimes during the day to see if its okay.

Has this happened to anyone else or is anyone experiencing something similar.
