Titles or no titles?

This guy and I have been seeing each other for about 4 months now. We are exclusively talking so we hang out, go on dates, etc. But only with each other. However, I want to be boyfriend girlfriend, he doesn't want a girlfriend because in a year he knows he is moving back home which is on opposite side of the country. Should I end it? I would move with him next year if we were still bf/gf (i never told him that tho) but he doesn't want to have to break up or do long distance after next year which is his excuse to not have a gf.
