Weird ass pregnancy, and birth story. TMI
I was 6mo pp when I got pregnant with my 3rd baby(first BOY!) he was accidental, and very unexpected! I had bleeding around 4 weeks and my HCG was so low and my first ultrasound revealed blood/debri in my uterus, my doctors assumed it was a missed miscarriage. I had a call from a doctor that same night telling me I was miscarrying and probably would need a DNC, well guess what? My numbers Doubled! I still had occasional bleeding that they couldn’t find a reason for until later on, around 12 weeks I had my NT ultrasound and blood test that revealed a healthy baby boy, around 20 weeks...the anatomy scan, shit got crazy, they found a mass on my placenta: a choriongoma and a placental cyst.

I had ultrasounds every 4 weeks starting at 28 weeks to monitor the growth, 28 weeks came and it was growing, it continued to grow up until 37 weeks. The reason they monitored me was because my baby could’ve developed IUGR and I had a higher risk of preeclampsia. not much happened but my bleeding continued(was pretty a period at that freaking point) I don’t know how many times I was hospitalized but at one point it was enough for them to check on my placenta, and during that they found a dilated vein near my cervix presumed to be the reason for bleeding. At my 38 week appointment I was offered the option for induction, totally took it! at 39 weeks at 8pm they hooked me up to pitocin and an epidural. My son was boring at 4:03pm weighing 8.6 and 20” long.

And I actually got a picture of my placenta because after the problems it caused me I needed to see what the fuss was about.
