i need advice

ok so my boyfriend graduates from BCT on april 17th & i’m going with his parents to georgia for the graduation. i live in oklahoma so that’s kind of a trip but i plan on going. then he gets a pass after graduation until the 20th but he has to be within 50mi of ft benning, right? well, my senior prom is on april 18th & it’s obviously in oklahoma, so i’m conflicted. because all of my friends are going to prom & it’s my last chance to go to prom so i’ve really really been looking forward to it & the party my friends & i are gonna have afterwords. so i really really don’t want to miss my prom. but, i equally dont want to miss his graduation. i promised him i would be there (before i knew the date of prom) & ive been really looking forward to it too because after his graduation he has 12 more weeks of AIT so i’ve been excited to get to see him in the middle. so i’m conflicted because i really don’t want to miss my prom & the memories with my friends but i also really want to spend that time with him & see him graduate. so i don’t know what to do... advice??

edit: they cancelled the graduation & the family visit due to the coronavirus, but they also cancelled my senior prom, so i guess it doesn’t matter anymore 🙃
