4 and a half years in with mirena

i just wanted to make a post about the mirena and how much i love it! i got mine as a senior in high school due to heavy irregular periods and i’m currently 22, no babies, no pregnancy scares or anything. i had 3 months of bleeding that i HATED to where i even tried home remedies to stop my period like drinking plain gelatin (it was disgusting 10/10 do not recommend) but i’m almost 5 years in and i LOVE it. i haven’t had a period in i don’t know how long. it’s so nice because i don’t have to worry about anything over these last few years. my obgyn says i’m good for 7 years total now so i have 2 more to go. any other girls loving their iud or mirena?
