picking head??

hey!! idk where to post this buutttt

i have been doing this for AWHILE now, as long as i can remember, my mom said she used to do it also. it’s gross and i hate it. scared to even go get hair cut or leave my hair down now.

i have a really bad habit of picking my head!! til it bleeds! i pick the scabs off and then it leaves flakes in my hair i can’t get so when my hair is down you can see what i picked off but it didn’t come out my hair. i can’t not do it !! if i randomly feel my head and feel a scab I HAVE TO PICK IT! no matter how much it hurts or how bad it is!! idk!! i wish i could stop!! i hate it!! it’s such a compulsive thing!! does anyone else do this?? how to stop?? my head has cuts n shit and bleeds because of this. sometimes i can not do it for a day but i think it’s me thinking i’ll get a better one the next day: what is this called?? anyone do this too?????? please help!!
