How often can I use my fetal doppler?

When I hear babys heartbeat it makes all my anxiety melt away. I use it every other day. I used it yesterday and I've had a really hard day and wanted to know if itll hurt my baby if I use it again today?

My ob and midwife don’t like you to use them more than once a week  less is better according to them

I’ve only heard that you shouldn’t do it so much because you’ll worry yourself to death if you either: 
Can’t find it, mistake something else as the heartbeat (yours, has, etc) and so on.

I used to use mine daily and frequently. After I lost my first born at 23 week's to Stillbirth I was always so afraid. It does give some kind of peace of mind.

I used my two or 3 times a day but only for 5 mins a day , my doctor said it was fine

I lost my daughter born sleeping at 24 wks so sometimes I use mine at least once a day or every other day if I can. It helps me to feel better

My OB advised against using them at all. He said it can create a false sense of comfort/security and women are not going in (or at least calling with their concerns) when they should.

You shouldnt use it more than once a week for 1 min. Pr obgyn recommendations. Ideally not even once a week but id you must its recomended no more than once a wrek
