Unreasonable to ask? (Circumcision)

Such a weird topic but I want opinions because it’s the first time my mom and I got into a disagreement lol

Situation:

A man and his wife are together for a few years. Man is uncircumcised when they first meet. Eventually, him being uncut became a problem for her (I’m assuming it was due to poor hygiene but then again she’s extremely high maintenance so it could’ve just been as simple as appearance) and she “made” him get circumcised at 35 years old.

Would this be unreasonable to ask your significant other to do?

I say yes, mom says no.
