UnBridesmaid

So my "best friend"/only friend (lived 2 steets away growing up) is getting married and im so happy for her, weve been picking out the dress together and shoes and where and when.....Well she gets ready to send the invitations and calls and asks if im gonna come to the wedding (which i thought was weird, 'of course i am! im your best friend ive been helping you plan for this')and if i would come stay in theyre rental for a week with them AND theyre wedding party, of course I say yes, shes my best friend right? Well....I am apparently not her maid of honor nor am i even in the wedding at all. My mind is killing me wondering why, is it me? Is it her family? (No, they love me) i dont understand, how do i have this conversation with her without ruining our friendship?
