Is this him asking me?

My bf gets off his lease in 6 months, by then we will be together for 9 months.

He last night was talking about it and I was like ya I would live in Portland I just can’t afford it alone. And he was like, “just move with me, but we would need two rooms and idk how much that would cost” (i have a child)

Is that him saying he wants to live together when he gets off his lease? Or just in general?

I mean I guess I could ask him but I don’t want it to come off as pushy lol.
