I'm 19 and my boyfriend is 17, he turns 18 in a couple of weeks. When I was 18 I dated a 25 year old and when I was 17 I dated a 20 year old. It's just a one year difference 🤷🏼‍♂️

Yes weird as hell that an adult wants anything to do with a minor. When I was 21 I didn’t even hang out with minors or even 18yr olds.

I don’t think it’s about the age difference, to me is more about the maturity of both. Given you said legal age is 16... but 16-18 your brain is still developing, many hormone changes, life changes... it’s odd someone older would want to date someone in HIGH SCHOOL 
That’s the odd part. But 3-4 years isn’t bad if both are in the same decade lol like if both are outside of high school
