6 Days Late

I’m posting this for anyone that might be going through the same thing. So my period is now 6 days late when I have a very regular cycle. I also had light cramping and headaches for about 4 days. At first I thought my period might be coming. But there really is no sign of it. So I took a test yesterday and it was negative. Confused, hurt and needing answer’s I called my cousin who’s a nurse. She told me that even though my period is 6 days late, fertilization of the egg may have just taken place a week or so ago. So there probably isn’t enough HCG in my system to show positive on a urine test yet. She advised me to test again when I hit 10-12 days late. So that’s what I’m gonna do. Wish me luck guys!
