Bottle fed: how many times a day is your little one eating?

How many times a day is your little one getting a bottle (in a 24hr period)? My son doesn’t eat at night anymore so now gets 5 bottles from 7am-7:30pm. I feel like he’s been needing more but already eats 6oz bottles and can’t handle a 7oz one so instead I’m going to start feeding him every 2.5hrs instead of every 3. This would put him at 6 bottles a day. Anyone else’s days look like this? I thought their feedings were supposed to be able to get bigger and more spread out as they got older 😅
