Drinking?

I know that drinking isn’t okay during stims, but is there any other time it’s discouraged? I’m supposed to start birth control in about a month, then stims after that, but we’re going on vacation this week and I was wondering if I’m allowed to drink? I won’t be on any medication or hormones, and I’ll have about 3 weeks after my trip before my next cycle when I’ll be starting birth control for 10 days, then stims after that. Please advise!
