Coronavirus and travel?

Question

Anyone have upcoming travels plans they worry may become cancelled due to the spread of the virus?
I am traveling to California from Texas in late April and my husband is telling me it’s likely the trip will be cancelled entirely. Seems like a long shot to me but just want to hear everyone’s opinions

I doubt that any travel will be cancelled in the USA. The virus is not even as bad as the flu. The media is out to scare you so they get better ratings.

We are going on a cruise in a week. We will practice normal precautions and have a great time. I think a lot of the hype is because there isn’t a lot known about it and that is scary and sensational. Ive read a lot about it and feel comfortable traveling.

My husband is flying to Ohio on Thursday and I’m flying to Texas next week. You’ll be fine just take your vitamin C and don’t shake hands etc.

We just booked flights within Canada in April. We’re not worried about it. My husband also has travel booked for himself from eastern Canada to California in June...

I'm supposed to go to france in April...and that might not happen (traveling with an almost 1 year old) .
I will lose all my money. Dont know if I can reschedule the tickets at all, most importantly I haven't seen my family in france in over 5 years and my grandma is very old now. ); supposed to have a whole reunion..sucks

I feel they should ground flights especially to certain countries... we are in the UK and there is a lot of scaremongering as well I feel... but something has to give...

It could happen, I’m not saying it couldn’t because anything can happen. I mean they’ve already shut down a couple schools in some states here in the US and I didn’t think that was going to happen but here we are 🤷🏻‍♀️ ya know?
