Long appt wait times w/ no acknowledgement -wwyd ?

I’ve had two appointments at this doctors office, and both times there has been over an hour long wait, with no explanation, apology, or even acknowledgement that they kept me waiting.

The first time, the office was almost empty. This time, there were a few other patients.

After my first appointment, they actually called me to tell me they forgot to have me fill out papers and to come back in just to fill them out.

The office staff is also rude- they will ignore you standing at the desk o speak to them, and then say “What?” when they finally acknowledge you standing there.

I think this is disrespectful, but I want other opinions. What would you do? Walk out? Wait? Other?

I’d like to also note that I’m VERY quiet and timid- I don’t pester people about my wait,& I always use my pleases and thank you’s, even when I’m frustrated. So their motivation to treat me this way is definitely not because I am boisterous about being seen.
