1st time clomid

This is my first round and I'm taking clomid on cd 3-9 50mg and whew the 1st day I was symtom free but after that second pill omg I woke up soaked in sweat and I'm having the most horrible hot flashes, night sweats and bloating im also having the pinching cramps like when you ovulate on my right side but they're so much worse than normal! Anyone else experience this does it mean its working? How long does it last I took my last pill today i just want these hot flashes to go away I'm freezing my house out lol
