Advice?

So basically I just started this app last period but either way I think my period is late, the app says I’m 8 days late today but I’m not sure. I never really kept up with it even though I’m supposed to. I just wanted advice on like if y’all think I should take a pregnancy test or wait a little?

With not really tracking your cycles you could have maybe entered a wrong last period day. Could take a test but if there's anything wrong with last cycle you entered the app it could be messed up. Could be nothing. Try not to worry. Give it maybe another week before testing. There's been a lot of posts women missing there February period and I don't think all have had positive tests yet, and saw some were just a bit of a week late

There’s no way for it to know your cycle if you’re not tracking for at least a few months. Take a test in the next week or so if you don’t get your period, in the meantime don’t stress because it could make things worse.
