sti & itchyness

my boyfriend and i both got tested on the same day and got our results a couple days later and we have chlamydia. his doctor gave him a shot and some pills and mine just prescribed me pills. his symptoms have gone away, but mine just started. i didn’t have any when we got tested but since he did i went ahead and got tested as well. well, now, i’m VERY itchy down there. but i’m not sure if it’s from the sti or if I’m allergic to the tampons i was using. anyways, does anyone have any tips on dealing with itchyness down there? it’s so uncomfortable:(
