What is happening...

The last two nights my son has been waking at night just SCREAMING. Night before last it happened at about 1 am. Last night it was at 9:30...only 2 hours after he went down. I knew he wasn’t hungry. He absolutely would not settle unless I picked him up and then he screamed the second I would lay him down. So I held him but he kept whimpering. I gave him some Tylenol thinking it could be teeth bothering him and that seemed to help. He settled soon after taking it and went to sleep for a few hours.

Could this be from teething? Anyone else’s baby do this? He was sleeping through the night 11-12 hours before, aside from an occasional wake up.
