Bleeding pretty heavy

So I just had a repeat c section on the 5th of March. Last night (little over 24 hours postpartum) I started heavily bleeding and passing large clots. I mean I filled up 4 of the huge pads within an hour. They gave me a shot to help my uterus contract and to help with the bleeding and now I’m on a round of pills to also do the same job. Did anyone experience this after a repeat section? Did everything turn out okay? I was really freaking out last night. Hoping and praying everything is under control now.
