Progesterone Pills

So, I had a miscarriage last October. I'm 10 weeks now, but my midwife had put me on progesterone. My levels tested too low even for not being pregnant. Has anyone experienced this and been able to get off the pills? The side effects plus being pregnant are really taking a toll 🙁 I'm going to call tomorrow but I was just wondering if anyone else had something similar.
