Lost mucus plug

Went to the bathroom like 30 minutes ago and a huge blob came out when I wiped plus in the toilet. It had blood in it too. Called my dr because honestly I had no idea what to do and she said it’s nothing to worry about. So I guess I just wait? Lol currently 36 weeks. I had awwwwful period like cramps last night and this morning but they weren’t consistent so I wasn’t concerned.

Anyone experience something similar? Dr wasn’t much help explaining what’s going on. First time mom 👋🏼
