Pelvic Pain- day 4 of suffering

I’ve been having pelvic and abdominal pain since Thursday. I went to the doctor on Friday afternoon and was scheduled for an emergency ultrasound which I had done yesterday. We are pretty certain the pain is due to ovarian cysts but I won’t know results until tomorrow. Is it normal for cyst pain to last this long and be this painful? My pelvis has so much pressure I cannot feel the urge to urinate. The ultrasound tech wouldn’t tell me anything but I could see her taking lots of pics and she typed “long uterus” and took lots of pics of my appendix although my pain is on the left side. I’m worried I may need surgery to get relief.
