Who got an hsg test done?

I have mine scheduled for November 18th if this cycle isn't successful & I'm a little nervous. Can anyone share how it went during and how you felt afterwards?

It was very painful for me but some don't have much pain at all. Feel like severe Kendrick cramps. After that I was bleeding for 4-5 days but all tubes were clear so I'm not sure why it hurt so much for me. Good luck!

I had one October 8th. For me it wasn't that bad, I took 800mg of ibuprofen half hour before. Mild discomfort when they inserted the catheter and period like cramps during and after. I actually went out to eat with my sister after and then to work that evening. I had no bleeding but wear a liner after as I did leak dye. My tubes were clear and I heard if there is a blockage then it hurts worse. Good Luck!

I had one done years ago. It was no big deal for me. Minor discomfort during the procedure and little to no discomfort afterwards. Every one is different.
