Pcos ultrasound ?

So I had an unltra sound and my ovaries were fine but there no were no polyps on my ovaries but she insists I have pcos ? Is anyone else like me ??

You will normally be diagnosed with pcos if you have at least 2 of the 3 following symptoms: high androgens levels, irregular or absent periods, or cysts on your ovaries. So technically you can have polycystic ovarian syndrome even though you don't have cysts on your ovaries. Lol

Yup.  Same here.  PCOS is a combination of symptoms.  Mine are high testosterone and low progesterone, infertility, trouble losing weight, lack of a regular period and not ovulating regularly.

I am currently on metformin to help regulate my cycle and taking clomid for three rounds again next month.

You can most definitely have PCOS and not have any cysts. It's an endocrine disorder characterized primarily by hormone imbalance. Seems kind of strange that it's called PCOS!! Lol

I've had u/s done where my ovaries looked like swoops cheese, and then others were they looked totally normal. Apparently my cysts come and go. I suspect for me it's diet and health regime related.
