RH (D) positive blood type?

What blood type is this?? I was thinking B?

Answer

Rh is a separate blood group system all together; there are a lot of different proteins on our blood cells. A, B, AB and O are typically what we think of when we say blood type, but in addition to that, we also mention Rh as a positive/negative. For example, I’m A+, meaning I’m A blood group and positive for Rh. These two or the most clinically significant blood groups, which is why we use them most frequently. 😊
Generally speaking, Rh positive is a good thing, because it means you don’t need Rhogam if you’re pregnant and you can receive Rh positive or negative blood.

Answer

Rh (D) just means your blood type is positive. But just from that we can’t tell you if it’s A,B,AB, or O. You should be able to call the dr and ask them for clarification.
