Was I wrong? Pt 2

I think in my prior post I wasn’t clear enough-so correct me if I’m wrong. My husband said he was going out for one drink and five hours later calls me to tell me he is at his parents house. Ideal situation but really? And he left his phone there..so I got a drunk husband who can’t tell left from right and who is passed out with our dog on his face and I’m not the happiest about it.

I read your prior post and now this one- yes you're wrong, hes allowed to go have fun, he told you what he was doing before he went out, hes not a child and doesn't need to check in every few hours......are you just reposting in hope someone will say you have a right to be mad? 🤔

I think it depends on the relationship. My husband and I always check in as often as possible, so I’d be upset. But we’re comfortable having those boundaries. For other people, it’s no big deal because they are more comfortable with just trusting and not worrying about it.

Honestly I’d be upset too?? I don’t know why everyone is saying you’re in the wrong. He should have communicated with you and be responsible about his drinking and have respect for your feelings. Yes everyone is allowed to have fun but you have to be respectful of your partner at the same time??

Id be mad personally. You have a right to be upset. You can have fun but not have too much fun. If my husband got drunk and didn't check in (knowing I have a tad bit of anxiety) id be pretty hot too. Respect on both sides isn't too much to ask
