Help!

I am in love with my best friend. Little back story. I’ve known him since I was like 12 I’m 28 now and he’s 32. He was best friends with my older cousin, but then I was just the annoying little kid to them. In September 2019 we started hanging out, we got extremely close he has 100% became my person. We’ve never hooked up, we have kissed and he’s held my hand and cuddled with me. We talked about having sex once but we never did. He moved to Florida in January and I’ve not seen him or spoken to him until Monday he messaged me on Facebook and we talked for a while. He told me he’s coming back to where we are from but he don’t think he’s going to be able to see me and idk why he won’t tell me. He says he’ll explain when he is able to see me. Well tonight he messaged me and I worked up the nerve to tell him I love him. Here is our convo. Do you guys think he is serious? Or just saying it because I did. (Yes he’s been drinking, no he’s not drunk, we talked on the phone for a little bit twords the end of the conversation so I’m 100% sure he’s not even close to being drunk)
