Cyst on ovary?

Has anyone ever had a cyst on their ovary? I’ve kinda noticed I have some pain in my left ovary from time to time. It’s definitely uncomfortable like a period cramp, but I’m not on my period and it shouldn’t be ovulation time yet.

This has happened in past months but I didn’t ever keep up with how often and when it was occurring, I just shrugged it off.

My period has seemed to be different the last few months as well, it is much heavier. Not something drastic, but my BC pills were keeping my period almost non existent until the last 2-3 months. I don’t notice any abnormal cramping during my period either.
