Should I go to the ER? Advice please!

Question

I’m 7w6d according to my LMP. I have my first appointment on Wednesday.
This evening I went to use the bathroom and noticed dried brown discharge so I wiped before I peed and got some stretchy discharge with brown blood. After I peed, I wiped and got red blood with tiny clots. 
I’ve had cramping here and there, nothing severe, and the normal pregnancy symptoms like fatigue, nausea, etc.  This is my first pregnancy so I’m not sure what to do. Should I go to the ER tonight or wait until my appointment Wednesday?

*UPDATE* Thank you guys for your advice, I’m glad I waited.  I was able to see the baby and heartbeat today! 😍😍 Doctor said bleeding is common and nothing to be alarmed about.

I'd be worried because of the red blood, are you still bleeding red? I would just wait for the appointment though.. If you are miscarrying there's not much they can do in the ER, I went to the ER with 2 of my pregnancies and I miscarried and they didn't do much they just checked me and told me I was miscarrying and I was there for hours.. but it's up to you, if you'll feel better going to the ER so they can check everything see if your baby has a heartbeat and tell you what's going on you should go.

If you go to the ER they will 100% tell you it's a threatened miscarriage and as much as it sucks, if they happen to be right, theres zero they can do. Wait til your appointment. It could easily be a SCH which your OB can diagnose. Save yourself a day of panic. Dont go to the ER. Monitor the bleeding to give accurate info to the OB. Good luck

Thanks ladies!  I spoke to my doctor this morning and she said she’s not super worried since it was a one time thing and there’s no pain. No blood since then so I’m keeping my fingers crossed 🤞🏽 and hoping to see a healthy baby tomorrow.

Wait and see what happens. If you do miscarry it’s will be a lot of cramping and gushes if blood in between. I was surprised how much. Stay home for that portion unless after a few hours it doesn’t ease, and you’re loosing too much blood. 
As others have said, the ER can’t do anything - except an ultrasound that you can book on Wednesday

I wouldn’t go to the ER anyway as there’s nothing they’ll do for you now but I esp wouldn’t go to the ER with all this coronavirus going around. You’re much safer waiting til Wednesday and just try and take it easy until then. Best of luck!
